Kathe started her career as a teenage DJ at the proverbial 1000-watt station on the prairie before graduating from the University of Minnesota. In PR, Kathe has held staff positions at NSP (now Xcel Energy), Walker Art Center, where she was director of public information, and at Cuningham Group.
Her writing has been published in The Christian Science Monitor, Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, Minneapolis Star Tribune, Videomaker, Women’s Business Minnesota and other publications. She is the author of “The Superkid Catalog” (Viking Penguin) and producer/host of independently produced video.
“PR Camp with Kathe Stanton” is her series of lively videos on public relations topics, large and small. (They’re also on iTunes and YouTube) Follow her on Twitter where she’s @KatheStanton. Her website is "Quid Pro Quote" and her blog is “Bouncing My Reality Checks.”
