Why Horses

Why work with horses? What can they teach us?

mirrorThe answers will amaze you.

Winston Churchill may have said it best when he said; "The outside of a horse is good for the inside of a man."

Horses are very sensitive. What you think and feel – they will interpret and mirror it back. You can't hide what you're thinking or feeling from a horse.  It always knows.  But best of all, and why horses are so great for teaching, is that horses will behave toward you in an interpretation of the manner in which you behave!  That gives observant humans invaluable feedback into the way we act toward others.

Can you think of a better way to learn than to be outdoors, breathing fresh air, and far from the office and other distractions? Studies show that the best way to learn is by doing.  Sure, attending typical conference room style training, listening to motivational messages and reading how-to books and articles help build strength of character; but actually DOING memorable exercises that make the messages come to light can really make a difference to putting the message into action and producing ROI.

And Allah took a handful of southerly wind, blew His breath over it, and created the horse.... Thou shall fly without wings, and conquer without any sword.  Oh, horse.  ~Bedouin Legend
